This month has seen a series of upgrades being implemented at the "back end".

Maintenance on 21st, 25th and 26th August is now complete - I'm pleased to report all went well. The S-MAX OC techies have been sent on R&R until September.

Please search the vast forum 'post' history before anything else.

There are loads of topics covered from DPF's to DMF's, Steering limiters, child seats and ISOFIX, roof bars, not to mention some daft jokes and some pics from previous Ford Fairs and other meets.

Please search before you post.

Please be aware that only part of the database is searchable unless you are a member, best tenner you'll ever spend...

Another Spare Ticket

Having now sent out everyone's tickets I find that I have just one more spare available.

I also have lots of spare parking passes, so if anyone does fancy joining us on the stand next Sunday then that can be arranged, though you'll have to pay the gate price as I can no longer obtain discounted club tickets.

If someone would like the last ticket then please email/PM me as soon as.

SEARCHING

We�ve all got out of the habit of searching since the vBulletin upgrade back in January. However Montgomery Scott has now sorted this out and so far as I can see we can now search right back to July 2008, which is when the site was �reborn� after �the great server crash of June 2008�. So as a result we admins and mods have had to be very lenient with duplicate threads, and such-like, but now that's all at an end.

Can I now ask that everyone searches first, and then posts second?

Please don�t be too surprised if you find your thread being closed or merged, it�s just that the information is probably already on here,

Now the site has got a new home and now using the .com and not .co.uk address. Could all members please redo their browser bookmarks to the new address.

Over the next week, or so, we will be moving the club on to a new, professionally run, server.

Hopefully there will be no issues, but if you find that you cannot access the site, then bear with us as it will only be temporary.

This initial period will see a mirror site being created that we mods & admins will use & abuse to prove the resilience of the new set up. Once we are all happy that it's working as it should be, then we'll "flick the switch" to enable to final transfer.

This last move will mean that the site will be offline for up to 24 hours. Probably
