As I missed Jim H's "For Sale" post when it first appeared, I'm looking for 4 x 17" SMax alloys, the standard Titanium items.

I don't need tyres.

If the rims/faces are scuffed, it doesn't matter; they'll be painted anyway.

I want them to put winter boots on for my 2.5T.

Thanks!
Russell

EDIT: No longer required. Solution found "in house", as it were! ;-D

I've got 4 x 17" genuine Ford 9 spokes with 225/50 Good Year Excellence on, done about 1k miles maximum. Looking for £400 plus courier cost. Will try to sort some pics.

Edit - basic pic attached. Oops - I see they're 10 spoke, not 9.

Thanks for the links & posts.

MM: are those wheels the type with Run Flat tyres?
Were they off your SMax?

They look like mine which are run flats with an additional rim. But they can also be from galaxy - there was an accessory and those are not run flats.

If they are run flats you will need a tyre fitter with special equipment to fit runflat or non runflat tyres on.

Russell - they're the standard spec tyres i.e. not run flats. I bought them unused off a 2007 Galaxy that was having bigger wheels put on, and then ran them for about 500-1000 miles to compare them with sets of 16s and 18s I also have. Nothing wrong with them but I prefer to go all out for comfort on 16s or all out for looks and performance on 18s. The manufacture date on the side is something like week 30 of 2007.

Cheers

MM

£411 is a bargain, the tyres are worth £500 alone.

OK, Mrs. Russell said I can the 17s I bought for her car last year, so no need to buy more. :D

Mrs. Russell's car will now be wearing 'attractive' black 16" steelies for the winter seasons.
