Hi Guys
An idea that came to mind was to offer the members the chance to win a great prize for next to no money. How could i do this i thought.
UNIQUE BID AUCTIONS.
Who runs the Auction
The auction will be run by the SMAXOC teamand all prizes supplied by by leading manufacturers. This means that all items will be brand new, come with manufacturers warrenty. Also more importantly no possible way of being scammed.
How does it work
The concept is quite simple.
You place a bid by PM to me.
The bid amount can be anything you like.
The winner is the person with the lowest UNIQUE bid, however low it is.
e.g if you bid 30p and no one else bids that amount and it is the lowest bid received then thats the price you pay for the item. If someone else also bids 30p then the bid is no longer unique.
How much does it cost
It will cost you £1 to place a bid on the item, this is paid via paypal to lee@smaxownersclub.com
You can place as many bids as you like throuout the month.
P&P is also chargeable on top of end price. (P&P will be shown on auction thread)
So as an example:
Auction:19" TFT Monitor RRP£199
You pay £1 and PM a bid of 56p.
At the end of the month your 56p is the lowest UNIQUE bid.
P&P is £10.
Total price you pay for the exhaust is £11.56 (No more, no less, no catch).
It really is that simple.
Rules
No bids will be excepted until £1 fee is received.
Once bid placed no refunds of the £1 will be accepted.
Remaining costs (i.e Final auction fee + P&P) to be paid within 7 days or the next lowest bid will be accepted and you will miss out. The only exception to this is by prior agreement with the SMAXOC.
Losing bidders will not have there money refunded. Place a bid take a chance.
If your still not getting it here is another example.
You send £5 by Paypal to SMAXOC.
You bid
1p
2p
3p
4p
5p
Thats your £5 worth of bids.
So at the moment 1p is the lowest UNIQUE bid.
Someone else comes along pays £3 for bids. They bid:
1p
3p
4p
Because 1p has now been duplicated it becomes invalid and 2p is now the lowest unique bid.
If at the end of the month your bid is the lowest you win.
Obviously the more bids you make the better chance you have of winning.
The point of this thread is for you to vote on whether you like the idea and would support it or you think its a bad idea and wont support it.
