Hi all, ok I'm a complete noob here and have just taken delivery of a 08 1.8 TDCI LX. (The wifes car, she wanted a C4 Picasso but I put my foot down and I am ###### glad I did) The extent of my tinkering with cars in the past was fitting the kids car seat... (always had a company motor myself and her previous was a Volvo S40 so no amount of money could have made that look good) Getting to my point, as the LX comes with steel wheels is there any issue adding alloys such as these as I love my errrr I mean "her" new S-max but those plastic wheel trims have to go!

these wheels have been on ebay since beginning of january, good price though...

peanut . lots of info here on the steel to alloy and 16'' to 17'' to 18'' conversions, have a read mate...to get access to the 'tech' section you will have to join by paying £10 but its worth every penny...

also you may be able to sell the steely's for spair wheels to people and that will help offset the cost of your new wheels
