Log-on issues etc

Guys,

Why do I seem to have two log-on screens that are different from each other? When I log-on to the forum, I do so using a one type of log-on screen but as soon as I respond to a thread and click on the Preview or Submit buttons, I am confronted with a second but different log-on screen. My post will only appear after I have logged-on the second time. Why is that?

Also, I have asked this question before but did not get a response and that is: how do I use the smilies etc at the bottom of the screen as dragging or copying them does not work?

Panther, sounds like you have a cookie issue.

For some reason your browser is not storing your log in details.

Check your browser settings and ensure that SMAXOC is allowed to use cookies on your computer.

Just checked your other settings & they seem ok.

I have altered the way that the site will look when you next log in.

You will now have the enhanced message editor.

To use smilies you simply click on them. No C&P or dragging, just click.

Hi Paul,

Thanks for making the changes that you did! The forum is now so much easier to use.

Btw, SMAXOC is allowed to use cooking on my PC so I haven't had to make any further changes to what you have already done and it works brilliantly, including the use of smilies.
