I've killed off the club Twitter account as there really wasn't that much interest & frankly I didn't know what to use it for.

All a bit of experimentation, but at least I/we tried, eh?

If anyone is interested then Alan & I are regular Twitterers, Martin & Tony less so. Let us know if you Twitter.

There's still the club Facebook site though

I "un-followed" SMAXOC on Twitter as many other have done also. Its a shame but just not worth following SMAXOC via Twitter AS IT IS RUBBISH!

Don't think the operator of http://twitter.com/smaxownersclub gets what Twitter is all about perhaps?. it is about doing mini status update blogs and the rest of us have the option of reading these and subscribing for further blog updates (or not). Just sending hello's to new members won't hold our attention for long!!

The Twitter feed should hopefully give regular news, tips and photos and info, IN REAL TIME, that would interest all us S-Max owners out there in Twitterland :-)

These feeds give an idea of what is possible:-

http://twitter.com/SaabOwnersClub

Hope the critical feedback is taken positively

Thanks Clive,

I am fully aware of what Twitter is for and hence why I took the decision to kill it off.

As I said I created the account as an experiment but with so few subscribing it was very limiting to see how to use it.

Paul.

No worries. Cheers and best wishes Paul. I appreciate you trying to get it started in the first place.

But please 3 things...

1. if you are such a regular Twitter-er why oh why did you start it in the first place??

2. A short and regular SMAXOC blog would be so great, and Twitter is the ideal vehicle

2. If nothing else, suggest you save the domain name. -will be good to keep, if & when Twitter takes off big time.

all the best :-)
Clive

1. Seemed like a good idea at the time
2. Sort of what we intended, but take up so low there seemed no point.
3. Too late
