I have a set of 17" 5 spoke S-Max alloys with (Michelin) tyres on them (2 with 3mm tread and 2 with 5mm tread) if anyone is interested, one wheel has a scuff on it but nothing serious. I have a price in mind but am open to sensible offers from a member from this site (Otherwise they'll end up on eBay along with a whole raft of other stuff that I'll be listing in the new year).
As always PM or call me for more details - 07793 057589
hows the response been nick?

Not really that much but then it's just been Christmas and I've not really pushed trying to sell them, mind you mate, if this snow and that is going to be a regular Dec/Jan thing I might just keep them for M&S tyres :grinning:

Hi a quick question if you get notified of this thread......
I am possibly interest in said alloys....have pm'd you but not sure if the notifications are going through ...I know I am not getting notified when there is a reply to thread I have subscribed to.
Anyway if you do get this hopefully you can either reply via here or respond to pm if it got through.

Aha so the mystery number on my phone was probably you then! Sorry I missed it, give me a call & we can arrange a time for you to have a look at them. This weekend we won't be around though.

Right I've just tripped over these yet again in my garage, working long hours has meant that I've not got round to putting them on eBay, I want/need the space now (for my motorbike of course!) so if anyone wants them I'm open to fair and sensible offers otherwise they'll be going on eBay as soon as Mrs WB and I return from our (child free) few days away early next month :o)
i am very surprised that no one here has taken them of you gary....17'' are better than 16'' and 18'' for ride , comfort and cleaning....
hopefully now the weather is getting warmer people will think about making their smax look better.
i might be interested but
1. unsure what they look like
2. what tyre size they take (for winter set)
could you give me an idea on the above pls
Have you any pictures of them and what price are they up for. Do they ahve tyres fitted...? Looking for some for my C-max
PM send with contact details

Yes they're still for sale I'll take some pictures tonight and add them to the thread, they're the same as the ones in Russell's post but with blue Ford centre caps. I'll also add in a set of locking wheel nuts as well.
For those that have PM'd me for my location I'm in Swindon (Wiltshire) however I work in Bristol so can always put them in the back of the car if need be.
They are nice and exactly what I am looking for.... I just got one to use as a spare as I only ahve the silly tyre inflation kit. I didn;t realse it was from an S-Max so if I could get these then I would have a spare to match
Have you posted up a price as couldn't see it on the thread.
I would need ot get them couriered if possible.
Incedently what size are the S-Max front brake discs? That look much bigger comepared to the ones on my C-Max

Ok, so here are some pictures of my S-Max wheels...
Sorry but they were taken straight off the car and so still a little dirty and the last two are two pictures of the same scuff, looks worse than what it is because I tried to wipe that bit clean and ended up smearing the dirt round a bit more - the very reason I get the blokies at Sainsbury's to wash my car!
Believe it or not I've had a few emails today re: these wheels, so I guess the fairest thing to do for those that are interested is to make what you consider a reasonable offer and we'll go from there.

Ok, so no one seemed interested in making me an offer on these and ending up with a very probable steal on these (as opposed to steel - ok so I never was that funny!), so in that case I guess if I have to put a price on then then I'll be putting them on fleaBay for £220 (+ postage), this includes centre caps and locking wheel nuts...
Have you put the wheels on ebay? I wonder if there are others like me that want a spare wheel rather than a goo dispenser!
Have you considered selling them individually? I've removed the rear seats from my S-Max and would willingly give up a few of the cubic litres I've gained to have a spare wheel. £75-100 pounds for a wheel and tyre in good condition seems a reasonable price to me. I guess thats an offer for one.
I have agreed to guy them.... Should look good on our C-Max. Only thing I was unsure about was the tyre profile as its different to the standard size for C-Max's
It a nice style of wheel too as many of the Ford 17's seem to be too fussy.
