Just found the "Blog feature"....... rubs hands.............. now that is CLASS!
hello everyone - good to be back online
Thanks Russel, I've found it.
Is there a limit (size, number, etc.) for the pics to be uploaded?
I think you can load 5 images at a time, although if uploading from your Computer, it's a bit of a pain to work out HOW to do so.
I've entered some images in my Album for my 2.5T, so you can at least see the size of the images.
"New Posts" = tool bar, top left, Stan.
saw this russel, thanks..but still like the icons to be more distinguishable...

It's new to all of us, Stan. In time, especially with the SMAXOC header/logos in place, it'll feel more like home. :grouphug:

Nice to have the site up & running again. It must have been a huge job, it seems like the site has been out of commision for ages....
Well done to Lee & all concerned for their hard work.

Great to see the forum up and running again :grinning: Well done admins.

This looks good something new to play with hello all
can we have polls on this new forum?
yea we can have polls, checks and other nationality's jason....
Great work Lee & co - really appreciate the effort you put in to the site.
Nice coincidence having the new-look forum ready to announce the new-look S-max.
(e.g. a few new shiny bits but otherwise the great same content!)
Cheers.
Just a quickie; trying to seach for postings made pre-shift to latest forum and they are not being found using the search tool. Any ideas please?
There does appear to be an issue with the search feature. Hopefully this issue will be ironed out soon.

I thought it was my wifi playing up at home again. Pleased it wasn't, but ....
Search me, I don't know
...I thought we were on a new server as we took up too much space elsehwhere? Wouldn't the move also mean less downtime/offline moments?

can I check if anyone else has an issue with getting updates to threads you have subscribed to? cos i'm not getting any e-mails notifying me but I can log on and see them if i'm lucky...
also with pm's......have sent a few but no replies (ok could be being ignored) are people getting notifications via email or a pop up like last forum?

sean
Emails are one the problems the site is still having. I'm not getting notifications either.

why can't the site remember me being logged in?
doesn't it set a cookie?
used to work in the old version :-(
this is in safari mac
firefox windows
chrome mac/windows
just a bit annoying
No problems here. Keeps me logged in till I tell it otherwise. Are you ticking the remember me box?
I have no problem with this despite using Windows 7/OS X 10.5.8/Linux Mint 8 all running Firefox or Chrome
I have no issues with staying logged in on Safari on Snow Leopard, and Firefox on Vista and XP.
