Guys,
just wondered if it is allowed to name and shame dealers on here. I know everyone has different expectations and hopes of dealers but what is the sites rules on dissing poor service. Apologies if I have missed it elsewhere.

Personally I'd say go for your life, having said that if a dealer gives good service then equally they should be praised

Interestingly I read yesterday that FIAT UK is going to canvass its 30,000 owners about their sales & service experiences with the dealer network.
The dealers will then be given a star rating, from 1 to 5.
They, FIAT, claim that it's the only way to get their dealer network to improve the levels of service necessary to improve the brand image & sales.
So in the spirit of not reinventing the wheel we might prefer to give our own opinions on our own dealers?
A 4-star rating for sales, plus a 2-star service for service results in a 3-star overall rating.
My own dealer - Hendy Ford in Eastleigh - gets a 4-star rating for sales, but only a 3-star rating for service. So I give them 3.5 stars overall.
Paul.

Hi Everyone, just thought i'd add my 2 cents!!
Just picked up my 10 plate S-Max 2.0 TDCI Titanium on Saturday and i've got to say that as a first time new car buyer I was well impressed with my dealer Vospers of Tiverton (Grafton Lickorish) - couldn't do enough for me!! Got a really good deal on a brand new car plus they took in my old Glalxy as part-ex (which did have electrical problems, which they new about) and mondeo for a good trade in!! so i'll give them 4 out of 5 for sales and 4 out of 5 for service as they had my Galaxy for two days (diagnostics) and only charged me for the diagnostic and didn't charge for the additional time the mechanic spend on taking my electrical systems apart - so overall 4 out of 5 (i would give 5 but i think i need to have the car longer and report on any issues, should they arise).
Simon.

Any photos when you can ???
GK ford at Alfreton please avoid, i traded my focus in and they failed to settle the finance, hence i was paying for a car i didnt own.
Also sales staff kept me waiting for hours,to resolve the issue. When i purchased the car, the manuals and service book were missing, this took 3 visits to the dealer to resolve (still havent got the touch screen manual 8 months later and thus given up)
Ive had no sales courtesy follow up call, and no correspondence since purchase
