Ford / Sony CD MP3 Player 6006

Try eBay in reality.

The 6006 code refers to the original Visteon unit, which is, as you know, rubbish.

I bought a Sony from someone on eBay & it was MUCH better.

Don;t forget that you will have to get the dealer to adjust the CCC to the correct settings for the new head unit.

Check if you need the original rectangular one, or the later shaped version.

If you want the original Silver Visteon 6006 (rubbish) and not the Black Sony one, I have one you can have, it is the Oval shaped one with the Code but as Paul pointed out above.... It is rubbish.... If it is for your own personal use I would recommend getting the Sony or a 3rd party Double DIN head unit. (Which is why I have the rubbish Visteon unit spare)

That's right one of those, I currently have a rectangle face.

That's the one, the only thing is the rectangle face is a dark grey my dase is more of a silver colour is there anything I can do to change this?

It is not too difficult to spray the surround.
The closest colour I could find was moondust silver.

I have a silver rectangle Visteon unit in the garage and the code is knocking about somewhere. Just pay the postage and return the cd thats still in it i forgot to remove and its yours.

You asked first, so you have first refusal. However if you intend to upgrade to a different unit, I have a 6006 in silver which has a badly scratched fascia.

If you don't intend to take up mrgoodge's offer, then I would like to.
