Zozzer is tinkering with the styles [bottom left of the home page] and to allow him to do so I have temporarily promoted him to an admin.

Work is also underway for the banner.

certainly will - this means changing an icon and reuploading through the less than friendly interface- bear with me

the colours are very much a work in progress so everything you see in v1.1 WILL change - please bear that in mind

hope you dont mind criticism zozzer but the headers a bit to thick [takes up alot on my laptop] and the font needs to be made a bit bigger in the sections, and of course the active icon colour needs to be made darker..

hi everyone

incremental changes on the "live" (1.0) site will be few and far between at the moment while I get my head round the software

the beta version will be tweaked and fettled on as regular basis as I can manage until it gets to a "what do you all think?" point, one thing is for sure in v1.1 there will be a lot of on going changes, so please bear with me and check back regularly - dont be surprised if bits break!

there's a variety of other tweaks that I've done; very few to the main live site, most noticeable is the new header and other tweaks in the Beta site: I'm experimenting with the top nav so that its easier to see on iPhones as well

i can't log into the site from my N95, i can view the site but there's only a username box and seemingly no password box so says i've used 1 out of 5 chances to log in, can't work it out!!! thought it might just be my phone and the way it displays the site

hi Scarey and everyone - glad that you are finding the design changes "better" (I use that word subjectively)

what I'm trying to do with 1.1 is make it really clear for the users - either on mac, PC OR iPhone (hence its a bit big at the mo and maybe other mobile devices but Windows CE etc is causing me headaches) - I'm also looking at low light implications. One thing this wont do is keep the colour blind happy - sorry but there has to be a trade off somewhere.

please use 1.0 for the usual experience as 1.1 will change over the forseeable

it is not finished yet and will probably be having another bash soon
