Hi, it seems I am unable to post new threads in the 'Wanted' and 'For Sale' sections. Is there any particular reason why?

You need to be a SMAXOC member to be able to post in the "For Sale" sections.

How can I join the S Max Owners Club if I don't own an S Max?

What do you mean?

Of course you can join if it helps you to buy one having received more detailed background information.

me too!

seriously Hellfire, buying a new car was for me the second most expensive thing I've bought after the house, I've always bought ex-demo or second hand and the prospect of shelling out over £20k for a Ford as a private buyer in 2007 made me do my research on an almost obsessive level.

I test drove nearly everything out there including the S-MAX which was (and still is IMHO) the best and then I found this site. Everyone was so helpful and friendly I stuck about and now am a permanent fixture (for better or worse).

by the time you've read through even 10% of the threads here you will know more than 90% of the Ford sales people (who seem to have a very dubious grip on product knowledge on anything other than a focus or a fiesta).

joining here was some of the wisest money I've ever spent

cheers
Z

Hello
Got to say that this site goes with buying an S Max.
Same as zozzer, info info info, you can't get to much.
I spent so much time on this site the wife started to call me a sad !!!!!!!!
Started out looking for a Ford Direct S Max
Ended up with a new one for the same money.Saved £7 500 on list price!!!
Regards Terry

Where would you get better value for money than that?
