Guys
As the S Max has ventured beyond the standard warranty period, what are your views on a forum to start gathering members experiences, pitfalls and general product information post Ford warranty.
For example, I had a quick scan through and found one classed Ford Galaxies as premium cars, could this happen for the S Max?
Hi Brains T. Anything which gives us the chance to be fore armed is going to be good. If we have an idea of what to expect then we can be ready with a reply.

Did you go for the post Ford warrenty in the end? I'm looking at the warranty offered by Ford at the moment for a 2 yr 10 m old 2.0 TDCi. I'm also looking at something from WarrentyDirect, and maybe Tesco as well. Any thoughts you could share would be interesting.
Thanks

I thought the Tesco Car Warranty Plan was closed to new customers http://www.tescofinance.com/personal/finance/motoring/car-warranty-plan/index.jsp

I'm confused! so ill try to unravel things. The warranty I have has the best part of two years left on it. As my motor is only just over 6 moths old, i'm hoping i dont have to utilise it. I hate them, i'd sooner put the cost of them aside and IF I HAVE TO, pay up and look big when something goes wrong. It gives me the power to shop around and make savings, I dont have to worry about some smooozers small print or acts of god. Having said that after i had a good look under the bonnet i know im going to have to trust somebody at some stage and i'm not looking forward to it.
