Diesel on car after filling the car up

some how i have managed to spill diesel onto the paint work of the car after filling the car up - this has now left some staines and i am un sure how i clean the :brow:marks left- any ideas ?

A gentle rub with some good quality wax should do it..

Intrigued as to how it's actually become stained though...

Swarfega will shift the sticky stuff and clean your hands at the same time. Not sure this is a good thing to do often, but if it can be used on your hands then it cant be too bad can it?

thanks to both replies- have used wax and this has got rid of the marks from diesel on the car-car got the marks from the diesel when i dripped when taking the hose out after filling the car!
