Yahoo E-Mail Question

When I re-joined the forum yesterday I gave my Yahoo account to begin with only to be told it was banned!

Is there any reason for this ?

Hi

Many 'free'accounts are used for spam (Yahoo, gmail, etc) so many forums do not allow them to be used as valid registration addresses. It can be a bit of a pain (especially if you only use a free account but it does help keep the forum spam down.

We get spammed to death by netbots using Hotmail, Yahoo, Googlemail and other popular web-based email services.

The best way to combat cheap ciggies, porn & debt consolidation is to ban 'em all.

Once we go to the new software we should be able to lift the restriction.
