Green Flag Mayday service, covers near enough everything including full recovery of the caravan (up to 3500kg GVW limit) when towing with options for onward journey to destination for holiday and collection afterwards and return to home.
Important difference on the recovery with Green Flag they do initial recovery to your home or destination with single recovery operator, ie if you break down in Invercockerleekie they do the recovery in one go. If you use RAC/AA and all the other usual suspects they often "piggy back" ie the vans or trucks only take you to extremes of their areas and then the vehicle is transferred to another recovery vehicle who again takes you to the extreme of their area etc worst case I've heard recorded was a 4 piggy back relay to home.
Covering one specified car or myself and spouse separately if driving or passenger in another vehicle with Home start, hotel overnight etc £124 per year.

Chris, my Green Flag Recovery Plus cover cost me £29.06 last year, is this something you can match when my renewal comes up in a couple of months?

Hi, not at that price. Their website says that their basic level of cover costs from £27 but the Recovery Plus you mention starts at £60. You must have got it through a special third-party relationship I would guess if you got the higher level for the lower price.

No it was the standard price as a new customer on their website (£54.06), however I used Quidco; as I do with all my insurance/breakdown cover, etc, and got £25 cashback on the transaction.. :)

Oh, right. Quidco. That explains the bonkers price.

Bonkers it may be, but it is what you can reduce the payment to if you combine cashback through Quidco/Topcashback with a quote from one of the insurance companies.. It is the price you are competing against...

£5 off £59.50 is quite a chunk considering that we only make £15 on that in the first place.
