Doubt anyone in London could get insurance that low on an SMax, especially with that mileage (though likely to be done out of town)?

Try the comparison sites and use a South London postcode

Thanks for the reminder about CKI, Paul. I just saved £50 with them compared to the renewal offered by my old insurer, which was on a par with the comparison sites.

I also got quotes with bluefin (not got yet) and the saving was about £150, so I'm in the right place if I ever buy one.

As I wouldn't have known about CKI without being a member of SMAXOC, £50 saving is a good return on the tenner subscription.

We just switched from Admiral to CKI and rather than paying out over £900 for our two cars we are now paying £695 for both. The lady on the phone was very helpful and they pulled out all the stops to get our business eventually beating Admiral who finally dropped the best offer of £789.26

    Excellent stuff.
