Ford announce RS-MAX venture with Aston Martin

SMAXOC has learnt of a secret joint venture by Ford and Aston Martin to create the ultimate family car for those who enjoy driving.

The innovative plan sees Ford working with Aston Martin boffins to create the ultimate luxury supersport MPV by transplanting the fantastic AM V12 into the Ford S-MAX.

In an 'off the record and after hours' briefing in the Dog and Duck last night our source revealed:

"Obviously there are going to be a lot of tweaks required to fit the new engine in, but we are confident that we can make it happen especially with the new All Wheel drive system we have developed, it should go like the clappers. It should be interesting to see the faces of certain German and Italian manufacturers when we release this... ...it's way faster the the Ferrari FF and we can fit five adults and two kids in the back, not just four people as the boys from Maranello do. Plus it wont have that bonkers AWD system they have, ours is a proper one from a Range Rover Sport... The next step obviously would be to race them at LeMans24 but I can't talk anymore about that..."

We asked when this fantastic beast would be available, all our source would say is that it starts testing at the Nurburgring on Sunday April 1st with Dale Lomas at the wheel.
