Ford Fair 2010

Sunday 8th of August will be the date for this year's Ford Fair, which is once again being staged at Silverstone race circuit in Northampton.

The SMAXOC will be attending for it's 4th consecutive year, but this year promises to be our biggest year and will see us on a pitch that will be larger than last years "postage stamp". We had to squeeze 11 cars on to an 8 car pitch, plus the gazebo etc.

What would be great would be to see at least 11 cars there again this year, hopefully including a couple of the revised models.

Rather than cooking breakfast this year it's my intention to go for a lunchtime BBQ, unless anyone else has any other ideas?

In previous years a few of us have stayed in Northampton on Saturday night. The "usual suspects" are away on holiday this year, so I'm after some new drinking buddies for some beers, a curry & a cheap overnight stay, which last year was £28, I think.

The event is family oriented and several members brought kids & wives last year. So bring your along if you're not allowed out on your own for the day

We can obtain discounted club tickets from the event organisers, so what I need is a show of hands of who's going to attend.
